Driver, 30, Killed, Passenger Wounded In Vineland Shooting: Prosecutor

A 30-year-old driver was killed and his passenger injured in a Vineland shooting over the weekend, authorities said.

Mark Brown was found unresponsive in the driver's seat of the vehicle by police responding to reports of shots fired around 9:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18 at Southeast Boulevard between Sherman and Grant avenues, the prosecutor's office said.

Brown was taken to Inspira Medical Center – Vineland where he was pronounced dead. His 34-year-old male passenger was found at a nearby property and also hospitalized, then released.

No arrests have been made as of press time and the investigation remains active and ongoing.
